2022 World Cup Cast Set After Costa Rica Defeat New Zealand 1-0 To Pick Last Spot.
Costa Rica defeated New Zealand 1-0 to complete the 32 team cast for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar. The 2022 FIFA World Cup will kickoff on November 21, 2022.
Joel Campbell scored in the 3rd minute of the intercontinental playoffs to send Costa Rica to the World cup finals with goalkeeper Keylor Navas denying New Zealand on several occasions on Tuesday night.
The 2022 FIFA World Cup will be played towards the end of the year (November 21 to 18th December 2022) due to unfavorable weather conditions in Qatar. It is also the first FIFA World Cup to be Staged on Arab soil and the second in Asia .
