2023 Women’s World Cup: Nigeria to face England in the Round of 16
Nigeria will face England in the round of 16 of the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup game on Monday August 7 in Brisbane, Australia.

The Round of 16 match between Nigeria and European Champions England will see the Super Falcons remain in Brisbane, their base for the unbeaten group stage run .
If they progress past England, Nigeria’s Super Falcons will equal their best performance, a quater-final finish at the FIFA Women’s World Cup in 1999.
32-teams participated in the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup tournament co-hosted by Australia and New Zealand with 16-teams, the first and second from each group, advancing to the knockout round.
