2024 Africa Academy Stars tournament set for thrilling grand finale in Uyo
The 2024 Africa Academy Stars Tournament is set to culminate in a thrilling grand finale on Sunday, June 2, at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo.
This highly anticipated event, powered by Island Stars Academy, Lagos, has showcased the talents of over 700 young footballers from various states across Nigeria.
The tournament kicked off with great fanfare, featuring Super Eagles Vice-Captain William Troost-Ekong, whose presence underscored the significance of the event in nurturing the next generation of Nigerian footballers. Troost-Ekong’s attendance highlighted the tournament’s role in promoting youth football and development.
The grand finale promises an exciting conclusion to the three-day competition, with final matches set in five different categories. The event will start at 9 am and include team and individual awards, as well as certificates for all participating teams, recognizing their efforts and achievements.
