2024 FIFPRO Men’s World 11 Announced
The 2024 FIFPRO Men’s World 11 has been announced on December 9, with stars from Real Madrid and Manchester City dominating the team.
More than 28,000 professional football players from 70 countries voted for their team of the year. Among the players chosen, four Manchester City stars made their debut, including Dani Carvajal, Antonio Rudiger, Ederson, and Rodri. Real Madrid also had six players in the list, including the retired Toni Kroos.
The only player not from Manchester City or Real Madrid to be included is Virgil van Dijk of Liverpool, marking his fourth appearance in the World 11.

Since 2005, FIFPRO has involved professional football players worldwide in selecting the World 11. For the first time since 2006, Lionel Messi was not included in the team for 2024. Messi, who has been chosen 17 times before, holds the record for most World 11 appearances.
