2024 WAFCON: Oshoala, Nnadozie, 19 others invited for Super Falcons qualifier vs Cape Verde
Asisat Oshoala and Chimaka Nnadozie headline list of 21-player Super Falcons of Nigeria players invited for the 2024 WAFCON vs Cape Verde.
Nine-time Africa Women’s Cup of Nations champions, the Super Falcons of Nigeria will host the Cape Verde in the first-leg.
That match will take place at the MKO Abiola National Stadium, Abuja, on Thursday, 30th November.
Cape Verde and Nigeria will lock-horns in the return leg scheduled to take place in Praia on Tuesday, December 5, 2023.
The Super Falcons were given free access to this stage of the qualifiers after Sao Tome and Principe pulled out of their match.
In their last international engagement, the Super Falcons comfortably dispatched Tanzania in an olympic qualifier.
In the abscence of Randy Waldrum, assistant coaches will supervise and issue out tactical inputs to see Nigeria past Cape Verde.
