Rockets, Warriors, Raptors too good for Spurs, Mavericks & OKC respectively
James Harden was at his brilliant best as the Houston Rockets upstaged the San Antonio Spurs in the NBA, while the Golden State Warriors had a win.
Harden recorded a triple-double to lead the Rockets to a 101-99 victory on Wednesday.
The result condemned the Spurs to a third consecutive home loss as the Rockets snapped a four-game skid in San Antonio.
The Warriors had no troubles against the Dallas Mavericks, easing to a 116-95 win.
DeMar DeRozan emerged triumphant against Russell Westbrook in the Toronto Raptors’ win over the Oklahoma City Thunder.
There were also wins for the Atlanta Hawks and Los Angeles Clippers.
HARDEN SPARKS ROCKETS
A triple-double from Harden helped the Rockets soar over the Spurs and to back-to-back wins.
Harden finished with 24 points, 15 assists and 12 rebounds as the Rockets improved to 5-3 for the season.
Kawhi Leonard’s 34 points were not enough to prevent the Spurs form losing a second consecutive game.
DEROZAN OUTDUELS WESTBROOK
Raptors star DeRozan impressed as Toronto got the better of Oklahoma City.
DeRozan was 13-of-22 from the field, while he made 11-of-15 free throws for 37 points.
Westbrook posted 36 points for the beaten Thunder, who entered the game with the league’s best record.

PACERS OUTLAST SIXERS
It went down to the wire but the rallying Indiana Pacers held on to deny the Philadelphia 76ers 122-115 in overtime.
Paul George’s jumper with 3.9 seconds remaining forced OT and the Pacers never looked back.
The Hawks were too good for the Chicago Bulls 115-107, the New York Knicks got the better of the Brooklyn Nets 110-96, the Phoenix Suns defeated the Detroit Pistons 107-100, the Utah Jazz lost 104-98 to the Charlotte Hornets, the Washington Wizards trumped the Boston Celtics 118-93 and the Minnesota Timberwolves downed the Orlando Magic 123-107.
The Clippers enjoyed a 111-80 win over the Portland Trail Blazers as Blake Griffin had a double-double of 22 points and 13 rebounds.
WARRIORS GO AGAIN
