Super Eagles drop 9, 3 places in World and Africa in the new FIFA Rankings
The Super Eagles of Nigeria have dropped in the latest FIFA Ranking.
The Super Eagles who were the first African nation to qualify for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia were previously occupying the 41st position in the world and 5th in Africa but have dropped in the latest Ranking for November.
According to the latest FIFA Ranking released by world football governing body FIFA on Thursday, the Super Eagles of Nigeria have dropped 9 places in the world and 3 places in Africa.
The Super Eagles of Nigeria who were 41st and 5th in world and Africa in October’s ranking are now 50th in the world and 8th in Africa.
It said that Nigeria had 671 points in November compared to their 696 in September and 721 in October.
Senegal, Tunisia, Egypt, Congo DR., Morocco, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Nigeria, Ghana, and Cote d’Ivore are the top nations in Africa.
The next FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking will be published on 21 December 2017.
