3SC, Enyimba International FC to battle for 100m in NPFL/Doxy Mmobuosi Super Cup final match
It was a Pre-final rehearsal as Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan and Enyimba FC of Aba battled to a goalless draw on match day three of the NPFL/Doxy Mmobuosi Super Cup Football Tournament.
The 0-0 draw at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Lagos, was enough to send both teams into the final of the money spinning pre season tournament.
The People’s Elephants as the first team finished with seven points, while the Oluyole Warriors gathered five points to finish second.
At the grand finale, the prize will be the title and a whooping 100 million naira to be carted home by the winner.
There will also be individual prizes for the highest goal scorer who will get a golden boot and the sum of one million naira, while the overall Most Valuable Player (MVP) will go home with one million naira.
The other participating teams Bendel Insurance and Rangers International were also In action on Thursday.
The Benin Arsenal defeating Rangers International 2-1 to end up third place with three points, while the Flying Antelopes finished with just a point.
Enyimba International FC and Shooting Stars Sports Club will lock horns in the final game on Friday December 9, 2022 by 5pm at the Mobolaji Johnson Stadium, Lagos.
