Aminu heroics not enough for Blazers as Pelicans lead series 2-0
After his below-par performance in Blazers 97-95 loss to New Orleans Pelicans in the game one of the playoffs first-round series at Moda Center on Sunday, Al-Farouq Aminu stepped up in the game two.
Although Portland Trailblazers were beaten 111-102, Al-Farouq Aminu was one of the top performers from his team posting a double-double in the loss on Tuesday.
D’Tigers forward led both teams in rebound with a staggering 15 rebounds, he was active and effective on both ends of the floor.
Of all the players on the court including Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum, Al Farouq Aminu led in percentage of three points made as he went 4-of-6 beyond the arc.
He also registered 14 points from 5-of-10 field goals attempts to register his first double-double of the postseason.
His Trailblazers now trail the series 2-0 as they go on the road against New Orleans Pelicans.
