The Dallas Mavericks and Golden State Warriors set a new NBA record by making a total of 48 three-pointers in their game, which the Mavericks won 143-133.
This broke the previous record of 44 three-pointers set by the Sacramento Kings and LA Clippers in February 2023, and tied by the Utah Jazz and Phoenix Suns.
The Warriors made 27 three-pointers, the most ever made by a team in a loss. It was also the most three-pointers in the Warriors’ history.
Luka Dončić played an amazing game, recording a triple-double with 45 points, 13 assists, and 11 rebounds. He made 6 of 11 three-pointers and led the Mavericks’ offense.
The Mavericks dominated early, scoring 46 points in the first quarter and leading 81-74 at halftime.
Klay Thompson had a great game for the Warriors, scoring 29 points and hitting 7 of 11 three-pointers. Andrew Wiggins also scored 29 points, including 5 of 9 from long range, while Stephen Curry made 7 three-pointers.
