Perez ready to lure Lewandowski to Madrid
Real Madrid are reportedly confident of enticing Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski to the Bernabeu next summer.
The 27-year-old has scored 20 times in 22 appearances for his German club this season and netted 45 goals in total since making the move to the Allianz in 2014.
According to AS, Lewandowski’s agent Cezary Kucharski was invited to sit alongside Real Madrid president Florentino Perez during the Spanish club’s 4-1 win over Getafe at the weekend and the Pole’s representative took up the offer.
Bayern are also said to be confident of keeping the Polish international, but Real Madrid are expected to press ahead with a big-money move next summer.
Any deal for Lewandowski could depend on the future of Cristiano Ronaldo, who is widely expected to leave Spain at the end of the season.
