New Eagles head coach appointed
A new head coach has been appointed for Nigeria’s Beach Eagles as they head to Mauritania for a Nations Cup qualifier. SportsRation reports.
The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has appointed Abdullahi Isa, a former goalkeeper and assistant coach, as the new Head Coach of the Supersand Eagles.
As earlier reported here, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) had advertised and invited qualified coaches to apply for the Beach Eagles job.
The NFF also named Christopher Kadiri as Assistant Coach and Bashar Samaila as Goalkeepers’ Trainer for the Supersand Eagles.
The Supersand Eagles will leave Nigeria for Nouakchott on Friday morning for their 2024 Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match against Mauritania, which will take place on Saturday.
The team includes experienced players Victor Tale and Emeka Ogbonna, along with Arome Isah, Adams Taiwo, Emmanuel Ohwoferia, Godwin Tale, Egan-Osi Ekujimi, Chidozie Frank, and Hassan Abdullahi.
The return leg is scheduled for Saturday, July 27th, in Nigeria.
