Deborah Abiodun reacts to unforgetable meeting with Brazil legend Martha
Young Super Falcons of Nigeria midfielder Deborah Abiodun was thrilled to meet Brazilian legend Marta following their match in the opening game of the 2024 Paris Olympics.
In their clash against Brazil, Abiodun faced the 38-year-old Marta, who captained the Brazilian side. Despite Marta having a goal ruled out for offside, Brazil secured a 1-0 victory thanks to Gabi Nunes’ first-half strike.
