Wilfred Ndidi gets new jersey number at Leicester City
As the 2024/2025 English Premier League season approaches, Nigeria’s Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi has updated his jersey number at Leicester City.
Wilfred Ndidi, who has worn the number 25 since joining Leicester in 2017 from Belgian side Genk, will now don the number 6 shirt.
The club announced the new squad numbers for the upcoming season, reflecting Ndidi’s new number. In his tenure with Leicester, Ndidi has made 273 appearances, scoring 17 goals and providing 17 assists.
Leicester City recently extended Wilfred Ndidi’s contract following it’s expiration at the end of the 2023/2024 season.
The Nigerian International will now serve as one of the clubs most experienced players as they return to the English Premier League after conquering the second tier last season.
