Nigerian international Anayo Iwuala bags scores in third consecutive game for Al Arabi

Nigerian international Anayo Iwuala has been in outstanding form, scoring his fifth consecutive goal to help Al Arabi secure a 2-1 victory over Al Qadsia in the Kuwaiti Premier League. This win keeps Al Arabi at the top of the league table with a perfect record of nine points from three matches.

Iwuala, who joined Al Arabi from Tunisian giants Esperance, has quickly become an key player for his new team. The former Enyimba winger opened the scoring after the hour mark against Al Qadsia, marking his third goal in as many matches this season.

His goal-scoring streak began in the season opener against Kazma, where he found the back of the net to kickstart Al Arabi’s campaign. He followed this up with another goal in a thrilling 3-2 victory over Al-Tadamon the following week.

Iwuala’s current form is a continuation of his impressive performances from the previous season, where he scored crucial goals against Al-Jahra and Al-Nasr. His ability to consistently deliver in front of goal has been a key factor in Al Arabi’s flawless start to the new campaign.

As a result of his contributions, Al Arabi has established a three-point lead at the top of the Kuwaiti Premier League, with Al-Kuwait in second place. Meanwhile, Al Qadsia’s defeat has dropped them to seventh position with just three points.
