The 2024/2025 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season continued with exciting action across the country, with Remo Stars, Enyimba, and Kano Pillars among the big winners of Matchday One.

Abia Warriors 0-2 Remo Stars

Nasarawa United 1-1 Shooting Stars
Nasarawa United and Shooting Stars played out a 1-1 draw, with both teams sharing the spoils. Yusuf Anas put Nasarawa United ahead from the penalty spot, but Ayanrinde S. equalized for Shooting Stars, ensuring the visitors left with a point.

Bendel Insurance 0-0 Rivers United
Bendel Insurance and Rivers United played out a goalless stalemate in a tightly contested match. Both teams displayed solid defensive work, making it hard for either side to break the deadlock.

Plateau United 1-0 Katsina United
