Tommy Paul wins Stockholm open, secures third ATP title of 2024

American tennis star Tommy Paul clinched his third ATP title of the 2024 season by defeating Grigor Dimitrov 6-4, 6-3 in the final of the Stockholm Open on Sunday.

Paul, the fourth seed, showcased his dominance throughout the tournament, not dropping a single set on his way to victory.

This triumph adds to Paul’s 2024 titles at Dallas and Queen’s Club, cementing his status as one of the year’s standout players. With the Stockholm win, the 27-year-old boosts his chances of qualifying for the ATP Finals for the first time.

“I feel like every match I played a little bit better and better. Today I came out playing amazing, so I was definitely happy with the performance,” said Paul, currently ranked world No. 13.

Paul joins Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz as three-time ATP title winners in 2024, confirming his rise among the top contenders on the tour.
