NFF Confirms New Venue for Super Falcons vs Algeria Friendly
The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has announced a venue change for the first leg of the international friendly between the Super Falcons and Algeria.
In an official statement inviting journalists for the friendlies, the NFF revealed that the first match will now take place at the Remo Stars Sports Complex in Ikenne, Ogun State.
The match is scheduled for Saturday, 26th October 2024, with kickoff at 4 PM. The second leg will be played at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Lagos on Tuesday, 29th October 2024.
The NFF emphasized the importance of proper media accreditation, stating:
“This is to respectfully call on Editors/Managers of the nation’s sporting media to send in requests for media accreditation for the International Friendly Match between the Super Falcons of Nigeria and the Fennecs of Algeria.
“This call is for those interested in covering the first match in Ikenne. (There is a separate accreditation process for the second match in Lagos).”
The double-header friendly provides a great opportunity for both teams to prepare for upcoming international competitions and offers fans in different regions of Nigeria the chance to see the Super Falcons in action.
