Nasarawa United’s Dogo Promises to Keep Fighting Despite Poor Start
Nasarawa United’s technical adviser, Kabiru Dogo, has vowed that his team will not give up, even after a tough start to the season.
The Solid Miners lost 1-0 to Akwa United in a Matchday 12 game at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium on Saturday. The defeat pushed the team down to 19th place in the league table.
Speaking after the match, Dogo shared his disappointment.
“It has been a difficult start for us, but we won’t give up,” he said. “The result is disappointing.
“We created some chances and even had a numerical advantage at one point, but we couldn’t take those opportunities.
“We will keep fighting, regroup, and work on our weaknesses as we move forward.”
Nasarawa United have played 12 matches this season, recording three wins, three draws, and six losses.
