Lookman Wins Man of the Match and Talks About CAF Player of the Year Nomination
Super Eagles player Ademola Lookman is excited after being nominated for the CAF Player of the Year award. He also won the Man of the Match award after his great performance in Atalanta’s 2-1 win over AC Milan.
Lookman has had a strong season so far, scoring eight goals and providing four assists. In the game against AC Milan, he scored a late goal to secure the victory for Atalanta and move them to the top of the Serie A table.
Talking about the CAF Player of the Year nomination, Lookman said, “It’s an honour to be nominated for this prestigious award. Of course, anyone who is nominated would like to win it. It’s a dream!”
Lookman also expressed his hope to win the 2024 African Footballer of the Year award.
Atalanta is currently in first place in Serie A, two points ahead of Napoli, who still have a game to play against Lazio.
