Giannis leads Bucks to NBA Cup final with big win over Hawks
Giannis Antetokounmpo helped the Milwaukee Bucks reach the 2024 NBA Cup final with a 110-102 victory over the Atlanta Hawks. Giannis scored 32 points, grabbed 14 rebounds, and provided 9 assists, leading the Bucks to victory.
Damian Lillard also played a key role, scoring 25 points, including 5 three-pointers. For the Hawks, Trae Young led with 35 points, 10 assists, and 7 rebounds, trying to bring his team back in the game, especially in the third quarter when he scored 14 points.
Giannis took control in the fourth quarter, scoring 10 of his 32 points to help the Bucks finish strong. Milwaukee made 14 of 45 three-point shots and 39 of 86 field goals. They also out-rebounded the Hawks 47-44 and had 22 fast-break points compared to Atlanta’s 15.
Giannis nearly recorded a triple-double and made the play of the game with a stunning block. The Bucks are now set to face the winner of the Houston vs. Oklahoma City game in the NBA Cup final.
