Endrick dedicates goals to Rudiger after ending goal drought

Teenage forward Endrick has praised teammate Antonio Rudiger after ending an 11-game goal drought with two crucial goals in Real Madrid’s dramatic 5-2 victory over Celta Vigo in the Copa del Rey Round of 16.

The Brazilian forward scored twice in extra time, in the 108th and 119th minutes, to help Madrid secure the win after they had let a two-goal lead slip during normal time.

Speaking after the match, the 18-year-old dedicated his goals to Rudiger, acknowledging the defender’s tough-love approach and influence.

“My two goals are for Antonio Rudiger. He knows what he does for me every day. He never praises me, and that’s a good thing! He tells me what to do, to score, to run, to keep fighting,” Endrick told Real Madrid TV.

The teenager reflected on a training session with Rudiger that pushed him to perform better:
“Yesterday in training, he gave me a tough game. I was thinking about it at home, and he’s a great person. The goals are for him.”

Endrick has had limited opportunities in La Liga this season, playing just 83 minutes. These goals will likely boost his confidence as he looks to make a bigger impact at Real Madrid.

He added:
“The first goal was very important for me. This is my job—to do well for the team, score goals, and help in any way I can. Scoring for Madrid, for these fans, the players, and the staff, feels amazing. In the last Copa game, I missed my chances. Today, I had two and scored.”

Despite rumours of a potential loan move in January, Endrick remains focused on Real Madrid and hopes for more opportunities to showcase his talent in the future.
