Manchester United Reduces Asking Price for Alejandro Garnacho, Sparking Interest from Napoli and Chelsea

Manchester United have reportedly lowered their asking price for winger Alejandro Garnacho to £55m, making it easier for clubs like Napoli and possibly Chelsea to pursue the 20-year-old.

Garnacho’s future at Manchester United has been uncertain recently. The Italian club Napoli is said to have had a £40m bid rejected last week but is now considering a new offer.

Despite his talent, Garnacho has found it difficult to secure a regular spot in the starting lineup under manager Ruben Amorim. There are also concerns that he may not be well-suited to Amorim’s preferred 3-4-3 formation.

Although Manchester United are not actively trying to sell Garnacho, they are reportedly open to offers because of financial fair play regulations. If he is sold, the transfer would count as pure profit for the club. Napoli are interested in signing Garnacho as a replacement for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, who recently moved to Paris Saint-Germain.

Chelsea are also reportedly interested in the young winger. However, it is believed that Manchester United would prefer not to sell him to a Premier League rival, so a move abroad is seen as more likely if Garnacho leaves Old Trafford this month.

The winger could feature for Manchester United in their upcoming Europa League match against Rangers on Thursday.
