Ekerette Udom joins Asteras Tripolis on loan from Villarreal B
Asteras Tripolis has secured the signing of Nigerian defender Ekerette Udom on loan from Villarreal B. The towering centre-back, who has impressed at various levels in Nigerian football, joins the Greek Super League side for the remainder of the season.
Ekerette Udom, who initially signed a three-year contract with Spanish outfit Villarreal B, made the move to Greece to further his development under the guidance of Asteras Tripolis head coach, S. The 24-year-old defender had an impressive run in the CAF Confederation Cup last season with Rivers United, where he made significant contributions at the back.
