Man Utd Make Third Offer for Brentford Star Bryan Mbeumo

Manchester United have made a third bid to sign Brentford forward Bryan Mbeumo, which could be worth up to £70 million.

The offer includes £65 million upfront and an extra £5 million in add-ons.

Brentford have not yet responded to the offer.

United Want Mbeumo Before U.S. Tour

United are still confident they can sign the Cameroon international before the team travels to the United States on Tuesday for three pre-season matches.

New manager Ruben Amorim wants Mbeumo to join the squad early so he can work with him during their 13-day stay in Chicago.

Mbeumo Scored 20 League Goals Last Season

Mbeumo, 25, had a great season last year, scoring 20 goals in the Premier League. Many clubs were interested in him, including Tottenham, who are now managed by Thomas Frank, his former Brentford boss.

But Mbeumo wants to join Manchester United.

Brentford Could Lose Two Key Forwards

Brentford might also lose another top striker, Yoane Wissa, who is being targeted by Newcastle.

United’s Attack Needs Fixing

Last season, United scored only 44 league goals — their worst record since 1973–74 when they were relegated. Amorim spoke many times about the team’s lack of goals.

So far this summer, United have signed forward Matheus Cunha and defender Diego Leon.

If Mbeumo joins, Bruno Fernandes may play deeper in midfield, with Cunha taking one of the attacking roles behind the main striker.

It also means players like Rashford, Sancho, Garnacho, and Antony — who are currently out of the squad — are even less likely to return
