Evans Ogenyi Starts Work as Kano Pillars Coach

Evans Ogenyi has started his job as the new technical adviser (head coach) of Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) team, Kano Pillars.

He led the team’s training session on Thursday at the Sani Abacha Stadium in Kano. The club’s General Manager, Ahmed Musa, who is also a player, was seen training with the team.

Ogenyi was officially named as the new head coach of the Sai Masu Gida on Wednesday. He takes over from Usman Abdallah, who left the team after the 2024–25 NPFL season.

Ogenyi is not new to the club. He helped Kano Pillars win promotion back to the NPFL in 2023.

He has also coached other Nigerian teams like Warri Wolves and Lobi Stars.
