Victor Boniface Set for AC Milan Move

Super Eagles striker Victor Boniface is close to joining Serie A side AC Milan after reportedly reaching a full verbal agreement with the club.

Transfer expert Florian Plettenberg revealed that Boniface and Milan have agreed personal terms, with the forward eager to make the switch from Bayer Leverkusen. Sporting director Igli Tare has been leading the move, with Milan submitting an official bid in the last 48 hours as talks with Leverkusen intensified.

According to Sky Sport Germany, negotiations between both clubs are now at an advanced stage. Reports suggest the deal could be structured as an initial loan with a €30 million option to buy, though a permanent transfer is also being considered.

Boniface, 24, was a key figure in Leverkusen’s historic Bundesliga title-winning season and was named Bundesliga Rookie of the Year for 2023/24. He has made it clear that he wants to join Milan, who are keen to strengthen their attack before the new season.

The Rossoneri have been searching for a striker, with Boniface now their main target ahead of players like Rasmus Højlund and Dušan Vlahović.

With personal terms settled and Leverkusen weighing up Milan’s proposal, Boniface’s move to Italy looks increasingly likely.
