Chelsea Break Premier League Record for Most Sales in a Single Transfer Window

Chelsea have made history this summer by breaking the record for the most money earned through player sales in a single transfer window. The club brought in around £263 million, more than any other team has ever made during one window.

The summer transfer window, which opened in June, is now finally closing. In just three months, Chelsea have sold a huge number of players, spent over £250 million on new signings, and won the Club World Cup. It’s been a busy and eventful period at Stamford Bridge.

A Fast Start Under Maresca

New manager Enzo Maresca has had little time to settle in. After winning the Conference League in May with his previous team, he took over at Chelsea and quickly got to work. The club started making offers for players like Jamie Gittens and Mike Maignan in the first week of the window. There was also some drama when the club decided not to continue some transfer talks after a short break.

Chelsea started their season later than most teams but have already played three Premier League games. They’ve won two, scored seven goals, and kept two clean sheets. Five different players have scored so far, including four goals from corners. It’s been a strong start.

Once the international break is over, Maresca and his squad can fully focus on football, with no more distractions from the transfer market.
