What a season of tennis!

The US Open is the fourth and final Grand Slam tournament of the tennis calendar, and with it now complete, the 2025 season’s majors are in the books. It’s the perfect time to look back and celebrate the men who lifted the sport’s biggest trophies this year.

Australian Open: Jannik Sinner Goes Back-to-Back

Jannik Sinner started the year on a high in Melbourne. The Italian defended his title at the Australian Open, beating Alexander Zverev in straight sets, 6-3, 7-6(4), 6-3. It was his second Australian Open crown and the third Grand Slam title of his career, a sign he’s here to stay at the very top.

French Open: Carlos Alcaraz Survives a Classic

Paris delivered one of the matches of the season. Carlos Alcaraz came back from two sets down to defeat Sinner in a five-set: 4-6, 6-7(4), 6-4, 7-6(3), 7-6(10-2). The win gave him a second Roland Garros title and his fifth Grand Slam overall.

Wimbledon: Sinner Breaks Through on Grass

At Wimbledon, Sinner proved that his game translates beautifully to grass. He powered his way past the field to capture his first Wimbledon title, adding a fourth major to his resume.

US Open: Alcaraz Finishes on Top

The year ended in New York with another clash between Alcaraz and Sinner. This time, Alcaraz had the answers, winning in four sets: 6-2, 3-6, 6-1, 6-4. It was his second US Open title and his sixth Grand Slam overall. The victory makes him return to the World No. 1 ranking.

Season Wrapped Up

And that’s it! The 2025 men’s Grand Slam season is done. Sinner defended in Australia and made his mark on grass, while Alcaraz dug deep in Paris and shone again in New York. Two young stars trading blows all year long and both proving they’re the future of the sport.
