Arsenal Take Top Spot with Narrow Win Over Fulham

Arsenal have moved three points clear at the top of the Premier League after a tough 1-0 win against Fulham.
Before the international break, the Gunners were only one point ahead of champions Liverpool. They had a chance to increase their lead at Craven Cottage on Saturday evening, especially after Manchester City beat Everton 2-0 earlier in the day to go top.
Arsenal controlled much of the match but failed to score before half-time.
The winning goal came in the second half when Gabriel Magalhães headed Bukayo Saka’s corner to Leandro Trossard, who easily tapped the ball into the net.
Arsenal were later denied a penalty after a decision for Saka was overturned. Despite this, they held on for the win.
With this result, Arsenal have 19 points, three more than Manchester City.
Mikel Arteta’s team are now four points ahead of Liverpool, who face Manchester United tomorrow.
