Belinda Bencic back in the WTA Top 10

Belinda Bencic is back inside the world’s Top 10, completing one of the most impressive comeback stories in recent women’s tennis.

Just 14 months ago, Bencic returned to the tour after giving birth to her daughter, Bella, without a singles ranking. Since then, she has steadily rebuilt her game and results, climbing back through the rankings to reach world No. 10 once again.

In doing so, Bencic has made history. She is the first mother to be ranked inside the WTA Top 10 since Serena Williams in 2021.
