Arsenal brings Back MacDonald to lead Player Pathway

Arsenal Women has appointed Pauline MacDonald as Player Pathway Manager following the departure of James Honeyman.

MacDonald, a former Arsenal player, will oversee the transition of academy players into senior football. She will report to technical director Jodie Taylor.

As a former Arsenal player, she made 72 appearances for the club between 1999 and 2003 and earned 66 caps for Scotland.

She arrives with experience in youth development, having spent seven years with the Scottish FA working with the U17 side and in player development roles. She also worked closely with former Arsenal head coach Shelley Kerr and has coached at Dallas Trinity.

The move reinforces Arsenal’s approach of building continuity between its past and future through internal experience and development.
