By: Silver Ohaeri
FC Ebedei coach, Tunde Oladeinde, has rated the the organizers of the Ogun State FA cup ‘below average’.
The soft Spoken coach stated this in an Exclusive chat with Sportsration.com. “FA cup is a competition that is played all over the world but one will wonder why ours is so poor. The organizers are below average, in all forms. I will blame them for both the poor coverage and the poor organizing.”
He complained about the registration fee paid by participating clubs. “The organizers should understand that the money used to register clubs for the competition is too high, some of these clubs don’t have enough money to take care of their players.”
“The aim of the FA cup should be to showcase the best legs around, some clubs could not raise the registration fee of 100 thousand naira to register for the competition.
He called on the press to get fully involved in the Ogun State FA cup games. “If the press don’t tell, who will? Maybe the organizers are not doing enough to pass information to the Media or maybe the press themselves are not doing enough to get information. We need the press to be fully involved.”
He also added that the participating clubs are not aware of any prize money. “I don’t know if there is a prize money involved for winning the tournament in the State level” the coach concluded.
