England top order struggles again

After turning the match around by reducing Bangladesh from 171-1 to 220 all out, England’s top-order batsman have once again failed to get their team off to a strong start on the opening day of the second Test in Dhaka.

Ben Duckett (7), captain Alastair Cook (14) and Gary Ballance (9) all fell to spin within the first 11 overs, to leave the visitors relying on their strong middle-order to build a score once more.

Joe Root and Moeen Ali were at the crease on 15 and two respectively before rain brought an end to the day’s play with England on 50-3
