Drake bumped Kevin Durant during interview on ´Drake Night,´ and things got really awkward
Basketball and entertainment collided in Toronto on Wednesday, and things got a little awkward.
Drake, a self-described Toronto Raptors “basketball ambassador,” had a strange run-in with Golden State Warriors forward Kevin Durant following their game. Durant was being interviewed by ESPN when he was bumped into by the rapper, who was being honoured with his own “Drake Night” promotion at Air Canada Centre.

“I don’t give a damn about no damn Drake Night,” Durant said, apparently agitated, when being asked about the man of the hour. He then proceeded to walk off the court.
Durant scored 30 points as the Warriors came away with a 127-121 win over the Raptors.
Ironically, earlier in the night, the rapper seemed to empathise with Durant’s decision to leave the Oklahoma City Thunder to sign with the Warriors in the offseason, calling him a “friend”.
“I’m happy to see my friend happy,” he said. “They have obviously something special over there. They have a shot at building a dynasty.”
