NBA Round up: LeBron helps Cavs extend streak, Warriors win 12th straight & Westbrook go gaga again
Reigning champions the Cavaliers rallied to beat the Philadelphia 76ers 112-108 away from home on Sunday, the Golden State Warriors extended their winning streak to 12 in the NBA, while Russell Westbrook had yet another triple-double.
LeBron James inspired the win with his triple-double in Philadelphia.
LEBRON AND IRVING FLEX MUSCLES
Cleveland’s star duo came to the party and got the job done in Philadelphia.
James finished with 26 points, 13 assists and 10 rebounds as the Cavs rallied.
Irving, meanwhile, posted a season-high 39 points, 19 of those in the fourth quarter.

The Warriors’ unstoppable recent run continued with a 105-100 victory over the Atlanta Hawks on Monday.
Westbrook’s red-hot form rolled on as the Oklahoma City Thunder claimed a 112-103 win against the New York Knicks.
Meanwhile, the Toronto Raptors cruised to a win.
WONDERFUL WARRIORS
Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson led the Warriors.
Curry and Durant each had 25 points – the latter also had 14 rebounds – and Thompson chipped in with 20.
Dwight Howard (14 points and 16 rebounds) and Paul Millsap (14 and 14) had double-doubles for the Hawks.
INCREDIBLE WESTBROOK
Westbrook recorded his eighth triple-double of the season in the win over the Knicks.
Westbrook scored 27 points with 18 rebounds and 14 assists, reaching double figures in the categories for the third straight game.
He now has 45 career triple-doubles, tying LeBron James for sixth all time.
The Clippers slumped to another loss, this time defeated 91-70 by the Indiana Pacers.
There were also big wins for the Sacramento Kings and the Dallas Mavericks.
RAPTORS ROLL
The Raptors had no troubles against the Philadelphia 76ers on their way to a 122-95 win.
Kyle Lowry had 24 points and Terrence Ross contributed 22 off the bench in the comfortable win.

CELTICS, JAZZ WIN
The Boston Celtics beat the Miami Heat 112-104, the Utah Jazz overcame the Minnesota Timberwolves 112-103, the Washington Wizards needed overtime to get past the Sacramento Kings 101-95 and the Charlotte Hornets breezed past the Memphis Grizzlies 104-85.
CAVS VISIT BUCKS
The Cleveland Cavaliers (13-2) are at the Milwaukee Bucks (7-8), with all of the champions’ big guns firing.
The Cleveland Cavaliers came from behind to win their fourth consecutive game in the NBA, while the Los Angeles Clippers crashed to back-to-back defeats.
WHEELS FALLING OFF?
For the first time this season, the Clippers have lost consecutive games.
If Friday’s road loss to the Detroit Pistons was not bad enough, the Clippers were outclassed in Indiana.
The Pacers forced 20 turnovers to stun the Clippers, who were led by Blake Griffin’s 16 points and nine rebounds.
COUSINS LIFTS KINGS IN BROOKLYN
DeMarcus Cousins inspired the Kings to a 122-105 victory over the Brooklyn Nets.
Cousins scored 18 points in the third quarter, finishing with 37 and 11 rebounds on away court.
Rudy Gay added 22 points for the Kings, who won in Brooklyn for the first time since the Nets moved in 2012.
The Nets, meanwhile, suffered a seventh successive loss.
MAVS POST RARE WIN
For just the third time this season, the Mavericks emerged triumphant.
On the back of Wesley Matthews and his 21 points, the Mavericks saw off the New Orleans Pelicans 91-81.
ROCKETS SOAR, NUGGETS WIN
James Harden had 38 points and 10 assists in a double-double display as the Houston Rockets overcame the Portland Trail Blazers 130-114, while the Denver Nuggets prevailed 120-114 against the Phoenix Suns.
The Milwaukee Bucks beat the Orlando Magic 104-96 and the Atlanta Hawks lost 109-94 to the Los Angeles Lakers.
