NBA Round up: Westbrook drops triple-double as Thunder beat Lakers, Spurs trump Clippers
The Oklahoma City Thunder benefited from another big Russell Westbrook performance, while the San Antonio Spurs topped the Los Angeles Clippers.
NBA All-Star Westbrook posted his 28th triple-double of the season as the Thunder downed the Los Angeles Lakers 110-93 on Friday.
The Spurs finished strongly in their 105-97 win at the Clippers in Los Angeles.
DeMar DeRozan had 43 points to inspire the Toronto Raptors in a 107-97 comeback-win over the Boston Celtics.
TRIPLE-DOUBLE AN ODD ONE FOR WESTBROOK
It was business as usual for Westbrook but he was not completely convincing.
While Westbrook put up 17 points, 18 rebounds and 17 assists, the guard was just four-of-18 from the field, while he turned the ball over six times.
Westbrook is only the person since 1983-84 to have at least 17 points, 18 rebounds, and 17 assists in a game. Wilt Chamberlain is the only player in NBA history with a 20-20-20 game, which came during the 1967-68 season.
LEONARD LEADS SPURS
All-Star Kawhi Leonard top-scored with 21 points as the Spurs won away from home.
LaMarcus Aldridge (15 points and 11 rebounds) chipped in with a double-double.
Blake Griffin had 29 points for the Clippers.
CAREER-HIGH NIGHT FOR DEROZAN
DeRozan starred as the Raptors rallied past the Celtics in Toronto.
The All-Star surpassed his 42-point effort on March 30 in 2015 as the Raptors erased a 17-point deficit on home court.
Serge Ibaka scored 15 in his Raptors debut, while Isaiah Thomas had 20 points to lead the Celtics.

SIXERS HALT WIZARDS, BULLS WIN IN OT
The depleted Philadelphia 76ers upstaged the in-form Washington Wizards 120-112, despite 40 points from Bradley Beal. The visitors had won 15 of 17 games prior to the All-Star break.
Dwyane Wade and Jimmy Butler helped the Chicago Bulls to a 128-121 overtime-win against the Phoenix Suns, the Miami Heat downed the Atlanta Hawks 108-90, the Indiana Pacers defeated the Memphis Grizzlies 102-92, the Milwaukee Bucks lost 109-95 to the Utah Jazz, the Denver Nuggets were 129-109 winners over the Brooklyn Nets and the Minnesota Timberwolves accounted for the Dallas Mavericks 97-84.

The Golden State Warriors will look to extend their winning streak against the Brooklyn Nets on Saturday. Defending champions the Cleveland Cavaliers are away to the Chicago Bulls, the Spurs tackle the Lakers and the Houston Rockets are at the Minnesota Timberwolves.
