The Nigerian attacker who was starting his fourth game scored his club’s first of the night when Kenny Saief cross from the left flank was deflected to his path and made no mistakes from close range with a half volley.
The 19-year-old was a constant threat to the visitors with his mazy run on the flank. Anderson Esiti also played part in the victory but Simon Moses, Rabiu Ibrahim and William Troost-Ekong were all unused subs.
Samuel Kalu Ojim has been a regular player for the Belgium giants and has rewarded his coach’s trust with a goal and an assist in just 6 games played.
