NBA Round Up: Westbrook posts 36th triple-double in loss to Harden’s Rocket, Warriors win seventh straight
The Golden State Warriors claimed a seventh straight NBA win as the battle of MVP candidates went the way of James Harden’s Houston Rockets.
The Warriors are finding form at a good time and on Sunday posted a 106-94 win over the Memphis Grizzlies.
Russell Westbrook and Harden went head to head, and the Rockets beat the Oklahoma City Thunder 137-125.
Meanwhile, the Boston Celtics moved level with the Cleveland Cavaliers atop the Eastern Conference.
WARRIORS ON TRACK
The Warriors extended their winning streak.
Klay Thompson had a game-high 31 points, while Stephen Curry recorded a double-double of 21 points and 11 assists.
Andre Iguodala chipped in with 20 points off the bench for the Warriors.
MVP SHOWDOWN
The result went the way of the Rockets, but Westbrook impressed.
The Thunder star posted his 36th triple-double of the season with 39 points, 13 assists and 11 rebounds.
Harden had 22 points and 12 assists, but got plenty of support from Trevor Ariza (24 points) and Eric Gordon (24).
CELTICS CLIMB
The Celtics were 112-108 winners over the Miami Heat to join the Cavs atop the East.
Isaiah Thomas led the way once more with 30 points, while Jae Crowder had 25.

WINS FOR BULLS, PACERS
The Chicago Bulls overcame the Milwaukee Bucks 109-94 and the Indiana Pacers claimed a 107-94 win against the Philadelphia 76ers.
The Sacramento Kings stunned the Los Angeles Clippers 98-97, the Charlotte Hornets beat the Phoenix Suns 120-106 and the Brooklyn Nets were too good for the Atlanta Hawks 107-92.
The New Orleans Pelicans cruised past the Denver Nuggets 115-90 and the Portland Trail Blazers were untroubled by the Los Angeles Lakers 97-81.

The Cavs (47-25) are at the San Antonio Spurs (56-16) in a blockbuster clash on Monday.
