Kevin Kevin Durant a big doubt for Warriors ahead of Game 2
Kevin Durant is an injury concern for the Golden State Warriors ahead of Game 2 of their playoffs series with the Portland Trail Blazers due to a calf strain in his left leg.
The star forward is listed as questionable for the match on Wednesday, where the Warriors are aiming to take a 2-0 lead following a 121-109 victory in Game 1.
Speaking to reporters on Tuesday, head coach Steve Kerr said: “If he didn’t practice there’s concern, so, [he is] questionable.”
Durant did not appear injured in the opening victory against Portland on Sunday, a match in which he played 35 minutes and scored a team-high 32 points while also grabbing 11 rebounds.
However, the injury is in the same leg that he suffered an MCL sprain and bone bruise on February 28, which saw him miss a month of action in NBA.
