Chelsea, Arsenal fix trophy parade for same day
Chelsea have planned their title-winning parade through London for the day after the FA Cup final against Arsenal, which happens to be the day their London rivals haven also taken.
Although it could be a double celebration for Chelsea as they are overwhelming favourite for the FA Cup at Wembley on 27 May and it, of course, makes sense that Antonio Conte’s men would hold-off their title celebrations just in case.
Arsenal have also had their plan to to celebrate their FA Cup triumph with their fans on the May 28th in case they also beat their rivals at Wembley on May 27th.
With both teams being located some six miles apart, there is no danger of the two parades running into each other.
Still, it does raise some interesting questions. And should Arsenal win, it will give both clubs the chance to definitely demonstrate which has the larger support.
