France beat Denmark to claim maiden Star Sixes title, Spain trash Brazil 11-3 to claim Bronze medal
Youri Djorkaeff scored the winner as Robert Pires led French side beat Denmark 2-1 to claim the maiden Star Sixes title at the London 02 Arena on Sunday.
France beat tournament favourites Spain 5-2 in the first semifinal while Brazil were humbled by Denmark 4-2 in the other semi-final.
Denmark the surprise package were hoping to continue the shock and maybe do another 1992 European Cup triumph but France said NO.!
Former Barcelona and Monaco star Ludovic Giuly scrambled the ball in from close range to put France in front before Daniel Jensen restored parity for Denmark with long range shot
Then Bolton icon Youri Djorkaeff happened with the strike below to hand France the title in the keenly contested final.

In the third place match, angry Spain thrashed Brazil 11-3, with former Real Madrid and Blackburn defender Mitchel Salgado leading the rout. He ended the tournament as the top scorer with 9 goals.
