Chelsea new signing Morata enjoys first training session

Alvaro Morata on Friday had a short training session at the Cobham immediately after becoming a Chelsea player.

It was gathered that Morata worked alongside fitness coach Constantino Coratti at the training ground having put pen to paper on a five-year deal with the Blues.

The Spanish striker has now flown to Asia to meet up with Antonio Conte and the rest of the squad.

Already Morata has expressed great delight with his move to London even as he hopes to hit the ground running with the reigning Premier League champions.

He said: “I am so happy to be here. It’s an incredible emotion to be part of this big club. I am looking to work hard, score as many goals as I can and to win as many trophies as possible.”
