LeBron James shows off new Goodyear Cavs jersey
LeBron James gave Cleveland Cavaliers fans their first look of the team’s new NBA jerseys.
Global sports manufacturer Nike has replaced Adidas as the league’s jersey provider in 2017-18.
Teams are now also able to have jersey sponsors for the first time, with Goodyear Tire and Rubber front and centre in Cleveland.
And James showed off the Cavs’ new threads in full effect via social media on Thursday.
Could it be James’Â last season in Cleveland colours?
The four-time MVP holds a player option and could become an unrestricted free agent at the end of the upcoming season, with growing reports of discontent in Cleveland as Kyrie Irving seeks a move away.
James guided the Cavaliers to their first NBA championship in 2016 but he was helpless to stop the Golden State Warriors in last season’s NBA Finals.
The 32-year-old averaged 26.4 points, 8.6 rebounds and 8.7 assists for the Cavs in 2016-17.
