Toronto vs Warriors just like a playoff game as teams set out to beat the champions
The NBA champions are having a rough start to their title defence, the Curry-led Warriors suffered a bad start to the new season after their 1-2 start to the new season.
This season the Warriors have struggled in all of their games winning by the whisker unlike what it used to be where they win by a large margin as teams seemed set up to beat the Dubs.
So far this season Warriors have lost 122-121 to Rockets, beaten New Orleans Pelicans by 128-120, lost 111-101 to Memphis Grizzlies, beat Dallas Mavericks by 133-103 before the hard earned victory today.
Warriors led for most of the game and threw their lead away like they have done in games this season due to turnovers and bad defence.
With less than 2 mins to go, Toronto lead by 112-107 then magic happened.
A Klay block led to a Curry drive for a 2 points play then Kevin Durant made a 3 points shot reminiscence of last year’s finals.
Then Kevin Durant assisted Steph Curry for another 3 points shot and Curry made 2 free throws to go on a 10 – 0 run and win the game 117 – 112.
Curry finished with 30 points he still has not missed a free throw this season has he made all 8 free throws he attemoted to keep his 100% free throw record while Kevin Durant finished with 29 points.
Kyle Lowry and DeRozan messed up in the closing moments for the raptors.
Warriors showed their class but this season most teams really really want to beat them.
