Zlatko Dalic: Nigeria not a typical African team

Croatia national team coach, Zlatko Dalic, has said the Super Eagles of Nigeria don’t play like a typical African team because of Mikel Obi.

Nigeria and Croatia will face off in the first game of their group D match on June 16th, 2018 at the Kaliningrad Stadium and Zlatko Dalic is aware of the importance of clash.

Zlatko Dalic warned that his team must be wary of Mikel-led Super Eagles whose style of play is totally different from a typical African team because of the former Chelsea midfielder inflience.

Zlatko Dalic also pointed out that Super Eagles who are not just powerful, but fast, agile must be beaten if they must advance to the next round.

“Nigeria is not a typical African national team, they have Mikel as a captain and a young, powerful player,” Dalic said to Istinom do gola, according to Sportske Novosti .

“They are fast, agile, will not be easy, but if the plan to go through we have to beat them.”
