CAF: Plateau Utd gets Eding Sport as Enyimba gets bye in club competitions 

Confederation of African Football (CAF) have released the draws for the 2018 CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup draws on Wednesday in Cairo.
Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) champions. Plateau United will face Eding Sport from Cameroon in the preliminary round while MFM FC of Lagos who finished second behind Plateau United last season would battle a Malian team in the knockout round.

MFM FC are yet to know their opponent since the Malian league is still on, but they will play the team who finishes second.

Aiteo Cup champions Akwa United have been paired against Gambian side Hawks while Enyimba International have been drawn bye in the preliminary round.

Enyimba will face the winner of the tie between Benin Premier League champions and Haifa FC of Gambia in the second preliminary round.

The first preliminary round will hold in February 2018.
