Like father like son – Daniel gradually becoming a better Dele Aiyenugba

The name Dele Aiyenugba will ring a bell to many fans as one of the Super Eagles goalkeepers.

The Hapoel Ashkelon goalkeeper who spent 6 years with Enyimba before joining Hapoel Tel Aviv was not just a good goalie, he is the man when you need to win a game via penalty shootout.

Dele Aiyenugba was a key member of Enyimba during their dominance in both Nigerian and African football.

Aiyenugba was subs on during penalties in both 2003 and 2004 when Enyimba won the CAF Champions League back to back.

His goalkeeping and penalty saving abilities may have been passed to his son Daniel Aiyenugba.

His son Daniel Aiyenugba, the skipper of the North Central U13 team saved two penalty kicks in the final game of @thenff/@ZenithBank U13 Future Eagles Tourney.
