Falconets commence training for South Africa
Nigeria U20 women team have commenced training for the crucial final Fifa U20 Women’s World Cup qualifying round clash with South Africa.
The Falconets had resumed camp on Monday and held their. first full training session with a full squad on Wednesday afternoon at the Fifa Goal Project, Abuja.
Captain Kemi Famuditi, Charity Rueben and team’s top scorer Rasheedat Ajibade were part of the training session as they gear up for the double-legged encounter with Basetsana.
With this development, Christopher Danjuma’s side willcertainly be spending their Christmas at the Serob Hotel to continue their one-session daily training until January.
Earlier in November, the Falconets had advanced having defeated Morocco 6-2 on aggregate after overpowering the north Africans to a 5-1 victory at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium.
