Foremost Nigeria football club proprietor and business magnate,chief Gabriel Chukwumah “Nnayereugo Nnewi ” has been honoured with an Appreciative and Meritorious Award for his undying love and ceaseless support for the sport.
Bet9ja Nigeria National League Club Owners Association -NALCOMA ,led by its president ,former Nigerian international and Kogi United club chieftain,Abdul Sule,NNL boss,Honourable Chidi Ofor Okenwa handed a befitting plaque to him during the crucial Retreat held in his Nnewi native town.
The founder and owner of the then Gabros International Football club and Nnewi united Football now,who was overwhelmed with joy,said the moment will remain indelible in his heart,while thanking NNL for considering him worthy of the honour.
“I am more than happy ,i was not expecting this I must confess, this is one of my best days on earth ,receiving Award from what gives me joy,adds greater happiness to my life’

Chief Gabriel urged NNL and stakeholders to ensure the most important League is taken to a more enviable height .
“We are playing more teams than the Nigeria Premier League,we should attract greater attention therefore ,we must all work harder to make NNL the dream League’
The one time Vice President of the Nigeria Football Federation, thumped what he described as a crises free -NNL “you been able to avoid crisis over a goid peeiod of time which means that the board has gone extra miles in build needed bridges that has encouraged good relationship among all ,please keep it up ,he ended.
